Hand Surgery

The hand is one of the most complicated structures of our body. It is also the body’s most important tool. Twenty-seven bones make up a complete hand, of which the wrist makes up eight; the scaphoid bone, the lunate bone, pisiform bone, the capitate bone, the trapezium bone, the trapezoid bone, the hamate bone and the triquetral bone. Operations on the hand include:
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Stenosing Tenosynovitis or ‘Trigger Finger’
  • Ganglion
